Batu Caves Tour
Crafty trip to the caves
This trip to the outskirts of the city along the Ambassador Row includes the Istana Sharif Ali and Malay Villages. First stop is at Royal Selangor Pewter, the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, known internationally for its high quality and craftsmanship. You will be shown the different processes, such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving during this factory tour.
Next you stop at a Batik factory to see the design and printing processes. Then arrive at the limestone hills of Batu Caves, a complex that is made up of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity, and a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of gods and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures

Malaysian Home Cooking Class with Market Visit
Something's cooking!
During this fun experience you spend half a day buying food during a market tour then learning how to cook it. First you go to the market for your ingredients and at each stall a brief explanation is given about the exotic items you buy. Then it's back to your fully equipped cooking station where you will prepare your meal with lots of help from the experts.
This is a rare hands-on experience of cooking in a Malaysian home environment using traditional stone and wooden utensils in a modern kitchen. Everything is provided and you will learn to cook a variety of traditional and special festive Malay, Chinese, Indian and Thai dishes. Pointers will be given on Malaysian cooking etiquette as well as some valuable tips about authentic dishes. Precious family recipes will also be shared.
