Bird Watching Tour
Strictly for the birds
During this five hour trip it may be possible to spot some of more than 230 species of birds in the jungles, rice fields and rivers of Langkawi. An experienced guide will take you first up to the Gunung Raya to try to spot the mountain birds, including the Great Hornbill, as he knows exactly where most of the rare species can be found.
A lot of migratory birds visit Langkawi from November until April, but even without these visitors the island is a birders paradise all year round. During the trip you will also see birds in the lowlands and paddy fields. You can bring your own binoculars but they will be provided if you need them. This tour is just perfect for anybody interested in the islands native birds and wildlife.

Take a look at Langkawi
This fascinating tour will take you through the urban and rural areas of legendary Langkawi. The journey begins with a visit to a showcase of the local cottage industry where you will see the process of traditional batik painting using wax and dyes. Travel on to Makam Mahsuri then go up the second highest mountain in a cable car ride and get bird's eye views of the island.
Later visit the Rice Garden, one of Langkawi’s eco-tourism attractions where you will be able to see a long stretch of paddy field. Apart from merely looking at the green paddy, you will also get to learn more about their specific species and see the scary scarecrows that are placed in the middle of the field. This island tour of Langkawi is both fun and informative.

Mangrove Kayak Trip

You wil experience the beautiful mangroves of Langkawi island on this kayaking adventure and get in some good exercise during this five hour trip. A guide will show you how to best handle the kayaks and tell you all about the flaura, fauna and the exotic wild animals you are likely to encounter as you paddle through the swamps.
This is a day where you will get a good close up look at the ecology of the mangroves whilst gliding with your kayak through a smaller area in the jungle away from the larger rivers. During this adventurous and rewarding tour you are likely to see monkeys, snakes, eagles, otters, rare and colourful birds and fearsome monitor lizards.
