I have used DialAFlight several times for holidays and flights and the service never wavers. Some companies get you on board and then take you for granted but not DialAFlight.

It would be helpful if next to each of the international flights on your app that you put how many hours the flight is. It is difficult to work this out with the different time zones.

One of Australia’s most important wine regions, Hunter Valley in New South Wales is a must for any budding oenophile. Situated on an eight-acre private vineyard in Pokolbin, with views that fan out towards the bushland and breathtaking Brokenback Mountains, Spicers Vineyards Estate puts you right in the heart of the valley and its bounty of wines. Just over an hour from Newcastle and 2.5 hours’ drive from Sydney, it’s the ideal city to country retreat.
Spa
Newly opened, Spa Anise is a small but perfectly formed escape, offering everything from aromatherapy massages to full body pampering with Australian natural products. The two timber-floored treatment rooms with private courtyards are located close to the peaceful outdoor pool, which is close enough to nature that you can hear the call of the birds in the trees as you take your relaxing dip.
Room Description
A true boutique experience, Spicers offers 12 guestrooms that come with that special, personal touch. Free bubbly on arrival sets the tone, before you check out your plush, king-sized bed, open fireplace and ensuite spa bathrooms. The hotel’s first-floor rooms enjoy the best views, or on the ground floor have French doors that open out onto a veranda. Fluffy bathrobes, luxury bath amenities and spacious open-plan lounge areas are all designed to make your stay as cosy as possible.
Activities
Aussie afternoons are all the better at Spicers, which lays on boules and life-sized chess to keep you amused. Horse riding, garden tours and even hot-air ballooning can all be arranged in the area and that’s before you get started on the food and drink. Book on a gourmet tour and you may be tasting local cheeses, olive oils and craft beers, or taking a walk in the fresh air exploring a range of boutique wineries – with all the tasting that follows.
Dining
Priding itself of its provenance, Restaurant Botanica is one of the Hunter Valley’s most charming. A simple interior that looks out over the vines is the backdrop to a superb seasonal menu and a hard-to-beat wine list. Start off with an entrée of beef carpaccio or ricotta-filled courgette flowers; move on to mains of hoisin smoked lamb or pan-fried kingfish; and be sure to round off with a financier or tart and cheese board. Too numerous to mention, the wines include the best of the Hunter Valley, as well as top international labels.
