You are picked up from your hotel and taken to the Anthropology Museum, the biggest in Mexico. The building is one of the most beautiful examples of the Mexican contemporary architecture and you will visit the rooms of Mesoamérica – where the origins of the civilizations of old Mexico are shown – the Teotihuacán room, the Aztec room and the Mayan room before having lunch in a restaurant.

Then leave for Mexico City's downtown, going through Reforma Avenue, constructed by emperor Maximilian, where most of the important monuments are located. Then see La Alameda park and the Palace of the Fine Arts before arriving at Zócalo to visit the National Palace, with its walls covered by Diego Rivera frescos. Later drive through Chapultepec park before returning to your hotel.

Swim with sea lions at Espiritu Santo island

Your morning begins by departing from your Los Cabos resort to the city of La Paz, You'll enjoy an authentic Mexican breakfast during a stop at the famous Hotel California in the town of Todos Santos. Then return to your vehicle and head toward La Paz, whose main dock awaits with the catamaran or Panga boat that will take you on the Sea of Cortez.

Once you board, sail away and feel the breeze as the vessel takes you to the island of Espiritu Santo. Its natural reserve, nicknamed ‘Islotes’, is home to a colony with more than 300 sea lions. The protected national park that’s part of the Espiritu Santo Archipelago is also home to more than 500 species of fish. You'll have a chance to snorkel in the beautiful blue waters, surrounded by all of these colorful marine life forms.

After you’ve completed your swim with sea lions and other sea life during the Espiritu Santo snorkel tour, sail to the beaches of the islands of El Candelero or Ensenada Grande in La Paz, where you'll be treated to a sandwich lunch. As you sail back to Los Cabos, you'll visit the renowned rock formation at Balandra Beach. At the end of your exciting Baja adventure, you’ll be comfortably transported back to your resort.

Here's your chance to tour around downtown, Mexico City. You ride down Reforma Avenue, built by the emperor, Maximilian, along which some of the most important monuments in the city are located; Juarez Avenue, along La Alameda Park and Bellas Artes Palace, designed and erected by the Italian architect, Adamo Boari, then 5 de May Street, until reaching the main square or Zocalo.

At this last site, you visit the National Palace, current seat of the government, with its walls decorated with frescoes by Diego Rivera, one of Mexico’s great contemporary painters. See the cathedral, a living example of colonial architecture; and the Templo Mayr. Then move on to Chapultepec Park, driving through Las Lomas residential area, one of the most high-end neighborhoods of the capital city.

Leave from your hotel for the two hour drive to Puebla, also known as the City of the Angels. After arriving in the main square you can see some of the best examples of the religious architecture of Mexico Colonial times. Visit the cathedral, the Chapel of the Rosary – an architectonic jewel of the 18th century – the Parián craft market and many houses that date from the same time.

Then enjoy lunch and after spending more time in Puebla leave in the evening for the 20 minute drive to Cholula. Here you visit the Pyramid, one of biggest and most important of the region, with time to explore this fascinating structure where the Cholultecs were based. After this full day adventure you are driven back to your hotel in Mexico City.

A Must see for all trips to Mexico City!!

We pick you up at your hotel and drive to the Basílica of Guadalupe, the most important sanctuary of Mexico. First, we will walk outside of the Three Cultures Square, where the main historical periods of Mexico (the pre-Hispanic, Colonial and the Modern ones) are represented. Visit to the new Basílica, where there is the original image of the "Virgin of Mexico". Architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez constructed the temple in 1976. The old Basílica can be admired from the great vestibule that dates from the 18th century. In that place, on December 12th, hundreds of thousands Mexicans get together in pilgrimage to worship the Virgin.

The visit will continue towards Teotihuacán ("Place of the Gods"), 53 kilometers far from the Federal District, approximately one-hour drive. Visit to the archaeological site where the Teotihuacán culture settled. Visit to the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, the Pyramid of the Sun, the temple of Quetzal-Papalotl, the temple of the Plumed Snails and the Pyramid of the Moon –from this spot the Road of Dead is seen in all its splendor–. Return to the hotel.
