For the benefit of future clients it would be preferable to warn them of the additional costs involved with a US hotel stay. The Motto Hilton Times Square added considerable extra fees including a so called Destination fee.

The Santa Catalina is excellent. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. BA service from Lisbon is terrible! They only allow you check in 2.5 hours before the flight, which is a pain when you have to leave a ship early and that leaves restricted time in the airport. Boarding was chaotic, but the flight OK except for the usual half hour delay.
All went to plan. Great trip on QM2 and good choice of hotel. Many thanks George

The Reykjavik hotel was excellent - well located and dinner was very good, freshly cooked and good quality and the staff were helpful both receptionist and waitress.
With hindsight I might have been better in the Harbour Leonardo as the city one is in the University area so no shops although there was a park to stretch legs after the flight.
