You can reach the Radisson Blu Resort at Fujairah, with its 500m of private beach on the Arabian Sea, in just 90 minutes from Dubai. The hotel is in Dibba Al-Fujairah, an area renowned for its beaches and diving opportunities. Fujairah, considered to be Dubai’s quieter neighbour, is one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE.

Spa Zen is a soothing retreat, which includes a beach cabana for outdoor treatments as well as a special couples’ room. All manner of pampering is offered here, from reflexology and stone therapy to massages and mud wraps. There’s also a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Room Description

Whichever of the 257 rooms – standard, deluxe or family – or suites you choose, you’re guaranteed spectacular sea views. Other facilities in the tastefully decorated rooms, which feature a pleasing neutral colour scheme, include free wifi, satellite TV, climate control, minibar and bathrobe. Accessible rooms are also available, and some rooms have a private terrace (or, in the case of the larger suites, two terraces).

The hotel can also link you up with the Palms Dive Centre, for some top-quality diving, book you onto a deep-sea fishing trip, or arrange an offroad adventure in mountain or dessert terrain. Fujairah is brimming with cultural opportunities, from a trip to the historic Fujairah Fort or the tomb at Al Muhallab to a visit to Al Bidyah Mosque or a day spent at Wadi al Wurayah. There’s also a twice-weekly shuttle bus to glamorous Dubai – where you can embark on a hot-air balloon for some magnificent views.

Guests have a choice of three on-site restaurants: international buffets at Breeze, Arabian seafood and traditional Khaleeje cuisine at Al Nokhada, or alfresco beachfront dining at Grand Bleu. For tipples, there’s coffee, tea and snacks at The Lounge, or cocktails, beer and sports at Heatwave Bar.
