Great service from Ivor who kept us up to date with everything before we left. The app is great having everything listed. We did have a problem with not being able to check in with the airlines in New Zealand but think this was an airline error.

When transferring in Auckland, leave more time for connecting flight. Auckland airport is very busy.
All flights were excellent and couldn't thank the BA staff enough for their assistance throughout the long flights.
Ray Taylor gave good advice, followed every detail. Good thoughtful choice of Vancouver hotel, lovely room plus view. Changing terminals in Auckland would have been a nightmare without special assistance. Singapore Airlines are superb, cannot fault them.

Flights and service to and from New Zealand were fine. The airport assistance helped me immensely.
The ferry across the Cook Strait in New Zealand is very unreliable. It was cancelled on the days before we travelled and afterwards because of mechanical issues and heavy seas. We were very lucky that on the day we wanted to travel it was running, albeit late. Others have had their holiday plans ruined and expense into the $1000s, as has been widely reported in the NZ press. Your customers should be warned about this.
The Europcar office is not at the Interislander ferry terminal in Wellington, but at the other ferry terminal, which is at least a 40 minute walk away and not practical with luggage. No taxis around to take us. We gave up and picked the car up the next day. Again, customers should be warned.
