The outbound flight on United to Dallas was depressing; a daytime flight and yet they blacked us out after serving an indifferent meal after take off. Return flight with their flagship Boeing 787 crew was excellent.

Everything worked out great except assistance at Manchester airport who let me down. Just a point which I hadn't expected - no lounge in the USA unless you were flying international!
