Would suggest you do not use Thrifty car hire. They took ages to do the paperwork then took $480 deposit instead of $200 and we have to wait 5 days to be re-imbursed.

The hotels (our suggestion, I think) fell short in some areas but overall we had a good vacation expreience. The car hire experience was superb - the best ever service. Top marks to Alamo.
