Perfect hotel. Citadines Shinjuku is right on the Tokyo marathon route at about 3 miles. My family just waited outside to see me. The transfer from Narita on the Narita express is straight outside arrival terminal and public transport system in Japan are 1st class. We never considered a taxi in the whole holiday. Food was out of this world and you can feed a family of 5 for £35, eating out. The city is the cleanest in the world by far.

You should be aware that Hotel Orchidacea has many steps. We were on the lowest level but it was still a climb of 117 steps from reception to the room. There are no lifts in the building. One of our party is asthmatic and found it hard going. All else, staff, rooms and food were all great

Recommendation of Turkish Airlines was overrated. Although it provided the least expensive Business flight to Hong Kong, I felt that the airline organisation was poor. I am more impressed with Emirates

My only minor criticism was that the pick up time for one domestic flight within the trip was far too early arriving at the airport for 6.30 am with the flight not scheduled until 10.15am

I’ve already recommended you to lots of friends. I love the fact that someone always answers the phone immediately and all the staff are really knowledgeable. They make lots of suggestions right there on the spot without any lengthy delays or call-backs. The best thing is being able to pick and choose your flights and hotels but still get an Atol certificate as well as a 24-hour emergency travel agent service whilst at your destination.
